The Amazing Mark Whitacre

Here is another amazing story!!

After watching the movie "The Informant!" last night, I decided to email Mark Whitacre and learn of his story personally. As expected, I heard back from him and here are some updates from Mark:

Mark has a new book now to share his story Mark Whitacre Against All Odds.

Mark also provided me the link to an interview with the FBI Supervisor Dean Paisley (very interesting, 3 min video).

Mark Whitacre's journey is an amazing story for all of us. So far I have enjoyed seeing the movie (The Informant) and also chatting with him by email.

I look forward to meeting him soon.

It's all about Policies

(David Andersen made another great response on the kanbandev list)

I love the response David has provided and he taught me "It is all about policies".

I keep seeing the impact of this element of Kanban (It's all about policies) in every aspect of my life.

The most exciting challenge I have as a consultant is to engage clients in understanding the value of policy (dialogues or engaging conversations as I call them). Policies take time. It is an investment that only the boldest of my clients make. They understand the true value of policies and the consequences on the team, customer, company (and in some cases themselves personally).

Here's to more courageous clients and their policies!!
